01: NEW DELHI: Welcome in India. Transferred to your hotel. Day at
leisure. |

Day 02: DELHI: Daylong tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and
Lutyn's Delhi (New Delhi). Also visit Sikh Temple. Evening
enjoy Dances of India show followed by dinner at Chor
Bizarre. |

Day 03: AGRA: Proceed to Agra, visiting Sikandara- Tomb
of Mughal Emperor Akbar enroute. Afternoon visit impressive Agra
Fort followed by the Taj Mahal- the most extravagant
monument ever built for love. |

Day 04: LUCKNOW: Enjoy the incomparable beauty of Taj Mahal
at sunrise. Later, excursion to the abandoned city of Fatehpur
Sikri. Late afternoon drive to Tundla station to board your train
to Lucknow. Met on arrival & transferred to your hotel. |

Day 05: LUCKNOW: Daylong sightseeing tour includes La Martinere,
Dilkusha gardens and the Residency Complex, the Imambaras and
the colourful bazaars. |

Day 06: VARANASI: Morning train to Varanasi. Met on arrival and
transferred to your hotel. Afternoon visit to Sarnath, where Lord
Buddha delivered his first sermon. Evening walking tour through the
colourful narrow lanes of the spiritual city that ends up at the Ghats of
the Ganges. Here, you enjoy Aarti of the Ganges- a spiritual
experience! |

07: KHAJURAHO: Early morning boat ride on the
river Ganges to witness holy rituals on
ghats. Later visit temples including the most famous Kashi Vishwanath
Temple, Banaras Hindu University and a factory weaving the famous
Benares silk in pit looms. Board the afternoon flight to Khajuraho. In
Khajuraho, evening free to explore the town. |

08: KHAJURAHO: Morning visit famous Chandela Dynasty Temples,
built between 950 and 1050 AD. Immortalized in stone, these temples are a
wealth of sensuous and erotic sculptures, a minute description of human
life and emotions. Afternoon, optional visit to Raneh Falls. |

Day 09: ORCHHA: Reach Orchha by road. Stay in beautiful
Orchha Resort, on the serene banks of river Betwa. Afternoon visit
Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj temple, and Raja Ram Temple-
one of the most exquisite in India. |

Day 10: GWALIOR: Drive to Shivpuri. Upon arrival visit |

elegant
Chhatris (cenotaphs), and Bhadaiya Kund, a scenic spot noted
for its natural mineral spring. Sightseeing is followed by
jungle safari in Shivpuri National
Park, essentially a deer park on the edge of Sakhya Sagar lake. Later
drive to Gwalior. |

11: GWALIOR: Morning enjoy sightseeing tour of the city including the
magnificent Gwalior Fort. Evening Son- et- Lumiere show at the

12: BHOPAL:
Board your train to Bhopal in the
morning. Met on arrival & transferred to hotel Jehannuma Palace.
Later visit the impressive Bharat Bhawan, Lakshmi Narayan temple & Birla
Museum. |

13: BHOPAL: Daylong excursion to-
Option I: Sanchi (Buddhist Stupa), Vidisha (Ancient trading
town now deserted) and Udaigiri caves (remnants of rich art of
Gupta period).
Option II: Bhojpur (for impressive Shiva temple & Jain shrine) and
Bhimbhetka caves (for famous paintings, depicting the life of the
pre-historic dwellers in vivid details. |

14: INDORE: Morning drive to the holy city of Ujjain to visit
famous Mahakaleshwar temple, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, and Kaliadeh
Palace- Water palace of Mandu sultans. Continue to Indore. Evening
free to take a stroll in the colourful & lively Kajuri Bazaar. |

Day 15: INDORE: Morning excursion to the City of joy- Mandu,
a fortified town dotted with palaces and interesting |

ruins. Sightseeing includes Jahaz Mahal, Baazbhadur Palace, Roopmati
Pavilion, the Hindola Mahal (swinging Palace) & Hoshang Shah
Tomb. |

Day 16: MUMBAI: Morning visit Lal Bagh Palace, Kanch
Mandir, Rajwada, and Chhatri Bagh. Afternoon flight to Mumbai.

17: MUMBAI: Visit the highlights of Mumbai (Bombay) covering
Prince Of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Ghat,
colourful bazaar of Crawford, and Afgan Church. |

18: MUMBAI: Morning visit the Gateway Of India. Followed by
Half-day trip to Elephanta Caves Island for astonishing ancient
sculptures. Rest of the day is free for shopping. |

19: MUMBAI: Day will be kept free at your discretion till the time of
your departing flight. At appropriate time you will be transferred to the
airport for onward flight. |
