Day 04: ORCHHA: Proceed to Orchha. Arrive & check in Orchha
Resort, on the serene banks of river Betwa. Afternoon visit
Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj temple, and Ram Raja Temple-

Day 05:
KHAJURAHO: Drive to Khajuraho.
Afternoon visit famous Chandela Dynasty Temples built between
950 and 1050 AD. Immortalized in stone, these temples are a wealth of |

sensuous and erotic sculptures, a minute description of human
life and emotions. |

Day 06: BANDHAVGARH: Continue to Bandhavgarh National
Park, home to chital or spotted deer, blackbucks, wild oxen, sloth
bear, sambar, nilgai, barking deer, leopard and tiger. Afternoon
jungle safari by jeep in the park. |

07: BANDHAVGARH: Enjoy full day of jungle activities in the park. |

08: JABALPUR: Reach Jabalpur by road. Afternoon excursion to
Bhedaghat, site of white Marble Rocks in the gorges of the Narmada

town now deserted) and Udaigiri caves (remnants of rich art of

Bhimbhetka caves (for famous paintings, depicting the life of the
pre-historic dwellers in vivid details. |

11: INDORE: Morning visit one of the largest mosque in India-
Taj-ul-Masjid, Laxmi Narayan Temple & Birla Museum. Later proceed to
Indore. Evening free to take a stroll in the colourful & lively Kajuri

12: DHAR: Morning visit Lal Bagh Palace, Kanch Mandir, Rajwada,
and Chhatri Bagh. Later drive to Dhar enroute visiting holy places of

Day 13: DHAR: Morning excursion to the famous sites of Mandu-
a fortified town dotted with palaces and interesting ruins. Rest of

Bhuddhist Caves of Gupta Period. Later drive to Indore station to
board the train to Kota. Arrive &

Option III: Baroli temple ruins and Bhensrorgarh Wildlife

17: BIJAIPUR: Continue to Bijaipur visiting ancient carved temples of
Menal on the way. The route covers glimpses of unspoiled tribal
life. Stay in Castle Bijaipur, still inhabited by the royal family.
Afternoon visit Chittorgarh, the largest fort complex in Rajasthan. |

18: DHARIYAWAD: Proceed to Dhariyawad to stay in Fort Dhariyawad.
Afternoon free to explore the
Tribal Bhil village and to visit

Day 19: DUNGARPUR: Drive to Dungarpur. Afternoon visit Juna
Mahal palace, famous for its glass and mirror inlay work, and
exquisite miniature paintings. |

Day 20: AHMEDABAD: Continue to Ahmedabad to enjoy
Indian delicacies in an interesting
rural complex- Vishala Restaurant. Here, you will dine in an
Indian fashion, seated on the
floor cross-legged, like most Gujaratis do. Later visit Calico Museum.
Evening flight to Mumbai. Arrive & transferred directly to Sahar
International airport. |
