Day
01: PORT BLAIR: Morning flight to Port Blair (ex Kolkata/Chennai). At
Port Blair, enjoy half-day sightseeing of Anthropological Museum,
Samudrika Marine Museum, and the famous Cellular Jail- British
India's dreaded penal colony for Indian freedom fighters. Evening watch
the informative Son- et- Lumiere show in the Cellular jail.
Day
02: PORT BLAIR: Sail to Viper Island and see the gallows made
for the prisoners before the construction of Cellular jail. Later sail to
Ross Island - once beautiful town of British officers now a
deserted scene of crumbling and decaying buildings. Evening at leisure at
Corbyn's Cove beach.
Day 03: PORT BLAIR: Morning depart to Mt. Harriet for
kaleidoscopic view of Port Blair. Later drive to Middle Strait passing
through tropical forest & tribal area, stopping to view lumbering by
elephants. Evening at leisure on the beach.
Day 04: PORT BLAIR: Full day tour of the National Marine
Park, Redskin & Jolly Buoy islands. These islands offer exotic
coral & marine life and are ideal spots for snorkelling & diving.
Day 05: HAVELOCK ISLAND: Morning motorboat cruises to Neil &
Havelock Islands. At Havelock, check in at Dolphin Yatri Niwas or
tented camps by the beach. The whole day will be at your disposal to
enjoy the beach, explore the tropical forest or the underwater coral
life. You can also hire a bi-cycle to explore the other beaches of the
island.
Day 06:PORT BLAIR: Morning flight to Kolkata/Chennai.
Arrive
and transferred directly to International Airport for your flight to
onward destination.
Day
07: KOLKATA/ CHENNAI: Final departure.
