Day 01: CALCUTTA (Kolkata): Welcome in India. Assistance on arrival
and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. |

Day 02: KOLKATA: Early morning visit Flower market near Howrah Bridge
followed by a boat ride on the river Hooghly. Afternoon enjoy
sightseeing tour of the city, which includes |

the famous Victoria Memorial. Board the train to New Jalpaigudi
in the evening. |

Day 03: DARJEELING: Arrive New Jalpaigudi. Change to the
Toy train for
Darjeeling. The toy train is pulled by a small steam locomotive, for
the long and winding climb up the hills to Darjeeling. Arrive and
check in your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. |

Day 04: DARJEELING: Drive to the Tiger Hill to view sunrise
and the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga. Later visit Senchal Lake and Ghoom
Monastery. Afternoon city tour includes Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute along with a visit to the Tea Estate, where you can watch
the pickers at work. |

DARJEELING: Morning at leisure. Board overnight train to Varanasi in the
afternoon. |

Day 06:
VARANASI:
Arrive Mughal Sarai. Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in
Varanasi. Afternoon visit to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his
first sermon. Evening walking tour through the colourful narrow lanes of
the spiritual city that ends up at the Ghats of the Ganges. Here, you
enjoy Aarti of the Ganges- a spiritual experience! |

Day 07: LUCKNOW: Early morning boat ride on the
river Ganges to
witness holy rituals on ghats. Later visit temples including the most
famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University and a factory
weaving the famous Benares silk in pit looms. Afternoon board your
train to Lucknow. Met on arrival & transferred to your hotel. |

Day 08:
LUCKNOW: Daylong sightseeing tour includes La Martinere, Dilkusha gardens
and the Residency Complex, the Imambaras and the colourful bazaars. |

Day 09: AGRA: Morning train to Tundla (Agra). Met on arrival &
transferred to your hotel. Later visit the most beautiful monument of
love- the Taj Mahal, followed by the visit to Agra Fort. |

Day 10: AGRA: Enjoy the incomparable beauty of Taj Mahal at sunrise.
Afternoon excursion to the abandoned city of Mughal emperor Akbar-
Fatehpur Sikri. |

Day 11: JAIPUR: Reach Jaipur by morning train. Evening enjoy rickshaw-ride through
colourful bazaars of the Pink City. |

Day 12:
JAIPUR: Early morning walk through some interesting lanes of the pink city
to witness as to how the old city comes into life. Later visit Amber Fort,
which is ascended on elephant back. Afternoon sightseeing trip includes Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), Jantar-Mantar (the Observatory) and
Maharaja's City Palace. |

Day 13:
DELHI: Train to Delhi. Arrive and check in your hotel. Evening enjoy
Dances of India show followed by dinner at Chor Bizarre. |

Day 14:
Delhi: Daylong tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and Lutyn's Delhi (New
Delhi). Also visit Sikh Temple. Evening board overnight train to Kalka. |

Day 15: SHIMLA: Arrive Kalka and change to narrow gauge train for Shimla, which passes through beautiful scenery and long tunnels. In
Shimla, evening free to walk over the Mall, which still reflects the
lifestyle in the period of Raj. |

Day 16: SHIMLA: Day at leisure. Optional excursions to Chail, Kufri or
Narkanda. |

Day 17:
DELHI: Drive to Chandigarh station to board your train to Delhi. Arrive
and directly transferred to International airport for your flight back
