02: OLD DELHI: Morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad).
Evening enjoy Dances of India show followed by dinner at Chor
Bizarre. |

03: NEW DELHI: Afternoon sightseeing tour of Lutyn's Delhi (New
Delhi). Also visit Sikh Temple. Evening board overnight train to Varanasi. |

Day 04:
VARANASI: Arrive Varanasi.
Afternoon excursion to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his
first sermon after enlightenment. |

Day 05:
VARANASI: Early morning boat
ride on the
river Ganges to witness holy rituals
on ghats. Later visit temples including the most famous Kashi
Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University and a
factory weaving the famous Benares silk in pit looms. Late evening
visit holy ghats to participate in the Aarti of the river
Ganges- a spiritual experience! |

Day 06: BODHGAYA: Drive to Bodhgaya, visiting mausoleum of
Sher Shah at Sasaram enroute. Arrive & check in your hotel.
Afternoon is at leisure. |

Day 07: BODHGAYA: Daylong city tour including Bodhi tree,
Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhgaya Archaeological Museum, Magadh University,
and Jagannath Temple. |

08: PATNA: Drive to Barabar caves to see impressive craftsmanship of
carvings and inscriptions. Drive further to Rajgir, where the first
Buddhist council was held after the attainment of enlightenment by Buddha.
Followed by visit Nalanda University, founded in the 5th century
A.D. Later proceed to present day capital of Bihar- Patna. |

Day 09: KUSHINAGAR: Morning enjoy sightseeing of Patna.
Followed by drive to Vaishali, where Buddha preached his last
sermon. Later drive to Kushinagar, the place where the Buddha
attained "Mahaparinirvana"- release from the endless cycle of
rebirth and death. |

Day 10: LUMBINI: Morning visit Cremation Stupa, Mahaparinirvana
temple, and modern Indo-Japan-Sri Lanka |

Buddhist center. Afternoon drive to Lumbani, where Buddha was
born 2500 years ago. |

11: LUMBINI: Visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Ashoka's pillar
(249 B.C.), and Mayadevi temple. Rest of the day is at leisure. |

12: SHRAVASTI: Morning drive to Shravasti, where Lord Buddha performed the miracle of sitting on a
1000-petalled lotus and multiplying himself a million times while fire and
water were emitted from his body. Later visit the famous Jetvana Monastery. |

13: LUCKNOW: Reach Lucknow by road. Afternoon enjoy city sightseeing.
Evening board
overnight train to Bhopal. |

Day 14: BHOPAL: Arrive Bhopal. Later visit famous Buddhist
monument of Sanchi. |

Day 15: AGRA: Morning visit one of the largest mosque in India
Taj-ul-Masjid, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Birla Museum. Afternoon
train to Agra. Arrive & check in your hotel. |

16: AGRA: Morning visit Taj Mahal - A beautiful poem written in
white marble, and the impressive Agra Fort. Evening enjoy a high
tea, especially arranged for you in a setting overlooking the Taj Mahal. |

JAIPUR: Morning visit the deserted
Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Later drive to a typical rajasthani
village of Pehrasar to relish delectable lunch in Chandra Mahal
Haveli. Continue to Jaipur. Evening enjoy rickshaw-ride through
colourful bazaars of the Pink City. |

JAIPUR: Early morning walk through
some interesting lanes of the pink city to witness as to how the old city
comes into life. Later visit Amber Fort, which is ascended on
elephant back. Afternoon sightseeing trip includes Hawa Mahal (the
Palace of Winds), Jantar-Mantar (the Observatory) and Maharaja's City
Palace. |

19: JAIPUR: Morning is free to unwind and assimilate the great Indian
experience. Afternoon drive directly to the International airport for your
flight to onward destination. |
